Spiderman Movies

We've seen this happen many times. Fictional comic book characters or superheros starring in their own feature films. With spiderman, he has proven himself one of the most successful at doing this, making many people very rich. The spiderman film series consists of 3 major releases by Sony Entertainment, being produced for a total of $600 million dollars. Did you know the spiderman movie actually grossed over $2.5 billion dollars and broke box office records? Although movie critics gave this film mixed reviews, it certainly was a success. I thought the spiderman movies were very fun and featured good direction and screenwriting. Maybe the actors could have been a little better.

Spiderman 4 is Coming Soon

Okay its still going to take a while to finish this movie, and we all have to wait several more years before the next spiderman movie is released. In January 2007 Columbia pictures commissioned screenwriter david koepp to begin writing the 4th film. They have limited this upcoming movie to just two main villians, with a special focus on characters. It was announced the shooting begins in January 2010, and will take many months to finish.
