Spiderman Comics

The first ever appearance of spiderman was in a 1962 comic book written by Stan Lee. The response was very positive, and people wanted to see more of spiderwoman. He received his own comic book called "the amazing spiderman' which was released in 1963. The artist responsible was steve ditko, himself and stan lee created 38 issues of spiderwoman comics while at the same time living in the 1960's and being hippies. Its interesting to think about where they got their ideas for this superhero.

Believe it or not, the comic was produced for almost 40 years straight, with the focus being on movies and video games now, considering that comic books aren't so popular anymore. Critics say one of the best features of this spiderman character, is how he is also very human. He has everyday problems, girlfriend problems, and is what you'd call an insecure superhero much of the time. This was refreshingly good writing, and ever since spiderman games have been embarking on fascinating new adventures.
