It follows the story of the spiderman 2 movie, as you navigate your way through the sets of manhattan, roosevelt, and the liberty islands. According to reviews, this game was geared more towards children.
Man of the classic spider-man villans appear in this video game, including mysterio and doctor octopus. While they have special powers, the bullies and street punks only carry guns, fists, and other common weapons. Basically the storyline is that peter parker is trying to balance his life between the superhero world and everyday civilian life. Just like in the movies or comics, he often needs to disapear at key moments in order to play the superhero and destroy robbers, villians, and the anti-hero venom. Many people appreciate the spiderman for being so human, and dealing with basic problems that most humans face.
