The spiderman series of games has changed the world, gamers worldwide have played a huge variety of releases for the playstation, nintendo, gameboy, and other popular consoles. Spiderman is the child of marvel comics, created specifically by Stan Lee. The spiderman character is played by Peter Parker, an orphan child who was left to be raised by his Aunt and Uncle. Just your ordinary teenager with his own problems and daily issues, who is bitten by a radioactive spider which leaves him with uncanny superpowers! This kind of reminds me of teenage mutant ninja turtles saga. He is both a man, and a spider.
Anyways, when the public first started getting a taste of the character in the 1960's, they immediately related to the character and demanded more. He was just performing a guest appearance in the amazing fantasy comic book series, but the positive response soon lead to spiderman getting his own series. The publisher at the time, martin goodman, noticed how sales of that particular comic were the highest of all the series. It was a smart move to capitalize on this realization. He knew that spiderman could easily become a household name, and he was completely right about that.

A major change in the comic books industry happened because of him, as previously you could not depict drugs in any comic. You could not even depict them as being negative. Stan Lee was actually approached by President Nixon, who wanted him to publish a message about the dangers of drugs. Spiderman Games were also being used in this way, to reach the next generation with playful and fun entertainment.
